Operation Boots and Booties

A Military Baby Shower For Local Southern Nevada Military Families

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12101 is a 501 c non profit.  All donations received from individuals and businesses will receive a donation receipt.  Donations no matter how big or small make a big difference in the life of a military family.  We only accept new baby items for the shower.  We love homemade baby blankets, bibs, crochet booties, baby outfits and baby items that are purchased at your local baby store.  No gift is too small to bless a military family here in Southern Nevada. We encourage all who donate to volunteer to attend the shower. We want you to meet the families you are blessing with your in kind donations.

We typically  host one large annual baby shower a year for approximately 250 expecting and new moms.  So the need for donations from the community is great.  If you are interested in pledging donations for our upcoming shower and need those items picked up, please contact us at  In an emergency basis we will assist with individual showers throughout the year for expecting female service women and spouses as well.  Upcoming Baby Shower Dates:  Saturday, February 4, 2017 and November 2017

To make it easy for the community to donate online you can choose either our Amazon or Babies R Us baby registry to donate for our February 4, 2017 Military Baby Shower.  All donations will automatically be shipped to VFW Post 12101.  Please make sure all donations are delivered by February 3rd. We have a huge need for bath items (washcloths, hooded towels, bath tubs and feeding items). Donate without leaving your seat by clicking the registry links below. All items on these registries are items we need for the February shower and items will be sent directly to us!

Financial donations are appreciated to help with food costs, linen rentals, as well as to purchase any baby related items we were short in collecting from the public. All checks should be addressed to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12101. Checks should state the money is being allocated to the Boots and Booties Baby Shower.

Mailing/Shipping Address for all Cash and Check Donations should be sent to:
